The barbershop that would become Hairlines opens its doors in downtown Flemington, serving farmers, merchants, and the families who built Hunterdon County.

1980s

Paul Montera Takes the Chair

New York-trained and NJ-licensed Master Barber Paul Montera begins cutting hair in Flemington — and hasn't stopped in over 40 years.

Today

Three Generations & Counting

The grandsons of Paul's first clients now sit in his chair. That continuity is why Flemington trusts Hairlines with every generation's first cut.
